About
My History
I started dabbling with UE3 when I was in college simply because it's cool to be able to make your own games. I then set it aside for probably 4 years and it wasn't until after dabbling in Unity that I came back to Unreal. I was really into the idea of gamification, I love the idea that you can be productive, learn, etc. and have fun at the same time, and I considered adding this element to some of my business ideas. But unfortunately most of my ideas are pre-revenue and I gotta bring home the bacon... so since then I have basically just followed the major engine updates. I'm super curious how dynamic LODs work under the hood. (Probably not that complicated... but hey you never know, maybe this is a good topic for a youtube video)
. Over the years I have attended local game development groups... but again I'm a weirdo, I am more interested in the engine than the actual story or gameplay, i just want things to be super optimized 😝 ... I know that's not necessarily cost effective... but hey maybe I can find an engine to work on!
