Why I’m Not Filming My Dog Walks (Yet): Strategic Content Focus
Summary
This isn’t about making content for content’s sake — and it’s definitely not about monetization. The purpose of what I share — in any format — is to surface useful patterns, tools, or systems. And that means staying focused on content that reinforces my core competencies, not diluting energy into formats that aren’t ready (or maybe never will be).
The Principle: Stay in the Zone of Leverage
Right now, that means tools, products, workflows — things built around software, systems thinking, and operational clarity.
Not lifestyle vlogs. Not trampoline flips. Not “casual” content.
Not because those things aren’t valid — but because they’re not where leverage lives for me right now.
Non-Core Content Isn’t Off the Table — It’s Just Deferred (Maybe Forever)
I’m not ruling out broader formats. But if they ever happen, it’ll be:
- Because the production cost is negligible
- Because the content connects back to a meaningful insight
- Because it’s still useful — even if it looks like play
Until then, I stay focused on what I know is useful — what compounds. What teaches. What actually helps someone build.
TL;DR
I'm not trying to be everywhere. I’m building signal, not noise. And that means being selective about what gets shared, when, and why.
